MICHAEL SCIULLO Obituary



SCIULLO JR., MICHAEL V. 60 - of Brigantine, passed away Friday, October 2, 2009, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mike was a life-long area resident and worked for the Kline Construction and Crane Excavating Company of Brigantine. For the last five years he was a supervisor for the MSSA Company of Cherry Hill. Mike enjoyed working and helping his father in his shop and his dream was to have spent most of his life in the Florida Keys. Michael is survived by his father Michael V. Sciullo, Sr.; his significant other of 25 years Dorothea Stone, his step-children Capt. John Stone (Michelle), Lisa DeVivo-Gane (Mike), Nicole Stone, and ex-daughter-in-law Rene Stone. Also surviving are his step-grandchildren Marissa, Kiersten, Brianna, Angela, Michael, Johnny, Sammy, Dominic and Catlyn. A special good-bye to Michael's brother-in-law and two nephews, all named Eddie Brown and also to his Okey Dokey Melissa Lenhardt. Michael was predeceased by his mother Marjorie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael's Life Celebration and viewing Wednesday, October 7, 2009, 10-12 Noon at the Keates-Plum Funeral Home, 3112 Brigantine Ave., Brigantine. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105. www.jeffriesandkeates.com

Mike and I were best friends and neighbors back in the 70's. I have many fond memories of him and I'm saddened to hear of his passing. He was a great guy. To his family please accept my deepest sympathies and prayers. May he rest in peace.
