NANCY PRINCE Obituary
PRINCE, NANCY L. 59 - of Ventnor passed away suddenly at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point on January 5, 2013. Born in Atlantic City, she was a lifetime area resident. Nancy enjoyed going to the casinos, yard sales and flea markets. Predeceased by her parents George Washington Prince and Naomi McCormack Prince, she is survived by her sons Shawn and his children Johnathan Faunce, Anthony Johnson, Alyssa and AJ Prince and great grandson Joshua and Robert and his children Serena, Robert Jr., Sierra and Layla Prince; her brothers Larry Prince (Bea) and George Prince Sr. (Pauline). Visitation will be Friday, January 11th from 6 to 8 PM at Wimberg Funeral Home 400 Liverpool Ave, Egg Harbor City, NJ (609) 965-0357. Services will be held Sat. Jan. 12th at Wimberg's in Egg Harbor City at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Egg Harbor City Cem. For condolences or directions, please visit wimbergfuneralhome.com

My prayers and thoughts go.out to Nancy's family. She was surely one of a kind, she had a heart for everyone. Didnt matter who you were she liked everyone and would help anyone. That is how I will always remember her! She was a dear friend, but I know God only takes the best as nanc would say "I know dat" lol. She was always happy and laughing!! Until we meet again luv ya nanc!

I am still in shock when I heard the news I was saddened although we didnt speak daily or even weekly sometimes months would go by we would still find a way to talk catch up and check on each other you were an amazing person who always kept me laughing I could go on forever of stories and memories since ive known you for those I am greatful to have and will cherish them forever! Mom I wish we could have one last cup of coffee together. It's been 6 long cold days since we talked iv been up more hours then I could imagine l remember you saying I didn't sleep all night but I'd wake up and here you snoring :( and you would wake up and say who's there. Mom mother best friend I'm hurting we where always together and I'd always call and say where are you and you would say I'm in Atlantic city..ok be there to get you soon.. :( I love you more then words can say. Nancy you were the best. Ive known you since i was i kid. We had so many great times on Texas Ave. I still cant believe your not here with us anymore. My heart goes out to Shawn and Bobby. I knew Nancy since I was 9 years old.The past 20 years she has been like a mom to me.She was one of the nicest people I've ever met and she always had me laughing.Everytime I go to a flea market or yard sale,it'll make me think of her.
Nancy was one of a kind,and I'll always miss her.Sometimes you have favorite people that really mean something to you.Nancy was one of those people for me.My heart goes out to the entire family & friends.

Nancy-
You are now with your Mom & Dad. We will miss you more than you could ever think. We have loved you always and will love you forever. Everyone else always came first for you. Your love for everyone especially your children and grandchildren is such a legacy for everyone to see & learn from. Heaven will never be the same. There will be more laughter and grace there now then there has been before. You have taken part of our hearts with you. We will never be the same. When we look to the heavens at night, I know that the brightest star will be you looking down and smiling. Shawn & Bobby had a great "Mom", not just a mother but a mom. There is a difference. You are and were always a wonderful sister and friend. You never turned away from someone in need. You would help everyone and anyone. Nancy you were my good friend. We grew up together & went to the same schools and were good friends. We all moved in different directions, but always kept in touch. I will never forget your beautiful smile and how you made me laugh. When we saw each other you would always hug me & tell me you loved me and I felt the same. I will miss that. The sadness of your passing has overwhelmed my heart. the only comfort I have is know Jesus gave his life so we could have everlasting life. I know in my heart, your parents, sisters & brother were waiting for you at heavens gate. I know at that point you never looked back as we will all do one day. Nancy, even though we've only known each other about a year, you have became a very dear friend of mine and I viewed you almost like a mother figure to me since I lost my own mother 4 years ago. I'll miss you hollering my name through the window, I'll miss your wonderful laugh and ill miss our great conversations. You were so caring and thoughtful especially with my children. I know they are definatly going to miss their "mom mom Nancy" you were truly an amazing and awesome lady and the best neighbor I ever had. Me and the kids love you and we will miss you very much.
