Paul J. Pettinato

1952 - 2021

Pettinato, Paul J., - 68, of Linwood, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on January 16, 2021. Born in Oreland, PA to Robert and Catherine Pettinato on March 16, 1952. Paul grew up in Ventnor. After graduating from St. Augustine Prep he went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Ornamental Horticulture at Delaware Valley College. Paul proudly owned and operated Designscape Landscaping for 47 years, where he meticulously ensured every detail was met with his approval. He was known as the Guru of Gardening. Paul was proud to be an American. Second to his family, Paul's passions were his friends, Donzi Power Boats, Corvettes, key lime pie, steaks, Crown Royal, and Christmas lights. Paul was predeceased by his parents and brother Robert. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Angele, mother-in-law Angelina Statuti, brothers-in-law Francis (Catherine) Statuti and Christopher (Laura) Statuti, niece Nicole Statuti, his two furry sidekicks Angie D and Dolce D, and a very supportive circle of friends, business associates, and former employees. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, January 21st 6-8pm at Middleton-Stroble & Zale Funeral Home, 304 Shore Road, Somers Point, NJ 08244. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks are required. Services will be held privately. A gathering of family and friends will be announced at a later date. Flowers are appreciated, Paul loved them.
