Albert Desorcy

DESORCY, ALBERT W. 86, passed away on June 4, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Loretta (Labbe) Desorcy and son of the late Arthur and Florida (Ayotte) Desorcy. Albert was an arborist and owner of the Desorcy Tree Service. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a recipient of a Bronze Star for meritorious service in a combat zone. He was also 4th degree grand knight of the Knights of Columbus. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Ronald Desorcy, Denise Santoro, Richard, Roger, and Paul Desorcy, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and his sisters, Sr. Jeannette Desorcy, Pauline DelMonico, and Theresa Desorcy. Albert was one of thirteen children. Visitation Monday MORNING, 8:30 - 10:15 AM in the A.A. Mariani and Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. The burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
