Dear Quinn Family:
I am so sorry to hear about your mom, she's laughing with my mom (auntie blanche) and auntie ester. I always think of her when i make egg salad, when i was younger in her kitchen when she made it she told me she liked it warm, my mom always served it cold and to this day i have not had the courage to try it warm. Maybe someday
All my love

Dearest Mr. Quinn (Bob) , Bobby, Johnny, Steven, Danny* and my dearest friend Colleen,
Words cannot express my deepest heartfelt sympathy to you all on the passing of Doris. She was an incredible lady who I will always have the warmest memories of while growing up around your family. I will always fondly remember her heart-warming smile and great sense of humor. You are all like a second family to me and I am so happy to have reunited with you all again, especially you Colleen. You are truly one of my closest friends and I believe our Moms are smiling down at us both and blessing our friendship. May you all find peace and contentment in the knowledge that she is among those who love her dearly and have missed her as much as she will be missed here on earth. You should all be proud of the legacy that she has left behind...for it is inside each one of you. Her life will forever be reflected in each of your lives and her love for you will live eternally inside your hearts and memories of her. May God bless your beautiful family and may his grace be upon you now during your hour of need.
Colleen, may you always remember what an amazing daughter you were to your mother and how incredibly proud she is of you. Your love for her was never more evident than during her last days. You were the embodiment of unconditional love between mother and child. Please remember that in the darkest moments of your life, your mother will ALWAYS be near you and watching over you all.
A Friend Always....

A wonderful woman, a grand lady and a precious Christian and those titles just begin to describe Doris Quinn. What a blessing it was to serve her, work with her and enjoy time in her presence. She and Bob were the exemplar for their family, the Parish and the neighborhood. God rest her noble soul and bless us through her powerful intercessions. Fr. Joe Protano

MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU IN YOUR TIME OF GRIEF.
I HAVEN'T SEEN DORIS IN YEARS, BUT I REMEMBER HER SMILE AND LAUGH. I WILL ALWAYS HAVE FOND MEMORIES

August 7, 2009

Dear Family,
With much regret I had not seen my Godmother, Auntie Doris, in many years, but I have very fond childhood memories of our families, Auntie Doris's face was the first person I saw when I woke from a coma after having a cardiac arresat at the age of 16 years old, I will never forget the comfort I had felt from that loving smile so many years ago, Auntie Doris was truly heaven sent to many, I pray that the grace in which she had lived her life is a comfort to all who knew her best.
