Dear Barbara, Paul, Patti and families,
My thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time. Your mother was a delightful lady and such fun to visit with, on the phone and otherwise. In fact, we had a conversation just a week or so before she died! I'll miss her.
I called Asta Carlsson in Sweden this week and she asked me to extend her sympathy to all of you. We reminisced about Asta's visit to the USA to meet her relatives and the wonderful dinner that your grandmother and mother hosted then. Asta will let our other relatives in Sweden know about your loss, and I've updated our Family Tree.
I regret that I can't be with you on Saturday. However, I'll be there in "spirit".
Sincerely,
Grandma and I - Christmas '84

Gladys was the absolute BEST Grandmother in the world. I will never forget all of the nutty times we had together. If you knew my grandmother well, then you'd know how nutty she could be. We all carry the humor and smiles that we learned from her.
Grandma, I will see you again (but not too soon) on the other side and we'll laugh again.
