John Guglielmo Obituary

GUGLIELMO, JOHN, of Knight Street, Cranston, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2006, on his 83rd birthday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of the late Viola A. (Messineo) Guglielmo.

Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Andrea and Rose (Maggiacomo) Guglielmo.

Mr. Guglielmo was the co-owner of the former Thomas Electric Company, of Cranston. He was a US Army veteran serving during WW II and a member of the Tabor Franchi VFW Post, Cranston.

He is survived by his sons, Andrew and his wife Diane Guglielmo, of Cranston, John and his wife Annmarie Guglielmo, of Warwick and David and his wife Lori Guglielmo, of Cranston. He was the grandfather of eight and the great-grandfather of five. Mr. Guglielmo was the brother of Filomena Lavoie, of Cranston, Salvatore Guglielmo, of Johnston and the late Antonio, Michael and Costanzo Guglielmo.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, on Thursday at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 4-8 PM. Kindly omit flowers.
