KENNETH RICCI Obituary

RICCI, KENNETH A., 76, of Naples, FL died on December 21, 2009. He was born in Providence, RI, the son of Arthur and Esther (Cataldi) Ricci. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois; his brothers, Dennis W. (Sandra) and Arthur, Jr.; and seven nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Beverly A. Porcaro.

Kenneth was a former owner of Venue, Inc., a costume jewelry manufacturing company and worked with jewelry most of his life. He was a member of Metacomet Country Club in East Providence, RI and Kensington Golf and Country Club in Naples, FL. He loved golf, fishing, cooking and life. He was a great friend, a wonderful husband and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Light House of Collier, Inc., 457 Bay Front Place, Naples, FL 34102 or The San Miguel School, 12 Carter St., Providence, RI 02907. Dear Lois: I was a very good friend of Beverlys and unfortunately never met you or Kenneth but I have to tell you that he was one of the most dearest people in her life and she loved him beyond description and adored the wonderful person that he was. Don enjoyed spending time with Ken, especially talking with him about former days in Rhode Island ( Ken would call him "Don Cheech").We will miss seeing him around the Club. While I only met Kenny a few times while playing with the Paradise Group, I can confirm what you already know; Kenny was respected and loved for his; energy to enjoy life, quick wit and great sense of humor. I can see that Kenny has left our guys with a life time of memories that will have a very special place in their hearts forever.

Lois, my sincere condolences . I looked forward to Kenny returning every summer so we could play golf as he was so much fun to be with.Playing gin with him or watching him and listening to his commentary was hysterical. He will be missed by many.
