Mary Engustian Obituary

ENGUSTIAN, MARY, 82, passed away Friday, December 26, 2008.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Manoog and Tamar (Zadoorian) Engustian. Mary was a 1944 graduate of Pawtucket East High School. She was employed by the Cumberland Engineering Co., Inc., for over 30 years, retiring as Credit Manger in 1993. Mary was previously employed in the credit department at the Peerless Co., Pawtucket. In 1972 she was awarded 'Secretary of the Year' by the Pawtucket Chapter of the National Secretaries Association. She was a volunteer at the Slater Mill, Pawtucket and was a member of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence.

She leaves her brother, Vartges Engustian and his wife Dolores of East Providence; nieces and nephews, Kathryn Engustian Doolittle and her husband Ted, Lori and Christine Engustian, Jeffrey Goolgasian and his wife Rosemarie and Gail Goolgasian and three grandnieces and a grandnephew. She was the sister of the late Sally Goolgasian and her husband Harold Goolgasian.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by services at 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence. Interment will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. VISITATION will be Tuesday morning 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the Church would be appreciated. www.TrippFuneralHome.com
