Juan Jose Andreanelli

1928 - 2019

March 15, 1928 - Jan. 4, 2019 Juan Jose Andreanelli passed away peacefully on January 4th with his family by his side. He was born on March 15, 1928 in Ingeniero White, Argentina to Ezio & Velia (Beato) Andreanelli. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Hector Hugo Andreanelli and his beloved grandson Brian Joseph Knez. He married the love of his life Carmen Caserma on April 7th, 1950. They had 2 daughters, Ana and Nora. They immigrated to San Pedro in August 1960 where he worked as a machinist at American Can Company retiring in 1986; he also worked at A-1 Imports and was owner of Carmen's Pizza, Croissant Caf‚ and Buster Brown Shoes. He loved soccer, crossword puzzles, tango music and ham & cheese sandwiches; he was skilled at masonry, calligraphy, gardening & could fix just about anything. In his earlier days he traveled to Argentina, Hawaii & Europe; he loved to camp with his family and as time went on he enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and cruises with his wife. He was a wonderful husband and father. He was a good, honest, strong & humble man that never complained. He was extremely loving and proud of his Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. He leaves behind his wife Carmen, daughters Ana (Anthony) DiLeva, Nora Andreanelli; Grandchildren: Vince (Christa) DiLeva, John (Tina) DiLeva, Jenni (Ken) Watten, Adam Knez & Fianc‚e Amanda Stiles; Great-grandchildren: Chloe, Isabelle, Mason, Rico and Aubrey DiLeva, Jackson, Tucker, Bodhi and Maverick Watten; Sister-in-law Rosalia Zabalza and brother-in-law Benny (Frances) Caserma; along with numerous family members here and in Argentina. Visitation will held on Sunday 5-7 p.m. followed by a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at McNerney's Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, January 14, 2019, 10:30 a.m. at Mary Star of the Sea Church followed by interment at Green Hills Memorial Park.
