HELEN LESAGE Obituary

HELEN (SKIPPY) LORETTA LESAGE July 20, 1936 to January 31, 2021. Survived by & Married to for 65 yrs Albert P. Lesage. Preceded by daughter Cheryl Ann Vaccarelli (7/16/2001). Survived by son Andre' Daniel Lesage & wife Suzanne, daughter Lisa Lesage Maloney and daughters (Helen's Granddaughters whom she loved dearly and asked to be at her bedside, & they were), Jona Maloney Jeffcoat, Julie Maloney, Samantha Maloney and Shannon Maloney & Tyler G. Widower son-in-law Jay Vaccarelli & wife Lisa. Grandchildren: Jason Vaccarelli & fiancé Katie Mitchell, Jodi Comunale & husband Fred, Jennifer Tracy & husband Brad, Katie Lesage & Tony. Great-grandchildren: Emma, Sarah, Jackson & Dylan Tracy. David Bounds. Zachary Jeffcoat. Lia & Vincent Comunale. Amare Ojo. Also survived by her Sister Florence Parsons, her husband Charlie and children Eric, John & Sue. Sister Barbara Butterfield & husband Gary. Preceded by sister Toby Smith and brother Steven Smith. There have also been many children along the way who she was a true Mom to and need mentioning: Ronnie & Nancy Gage and their children Mark, Brett & Casey (Mae). Preceded by Ronald (RB) Barker. Best Friend Ann Gibbs (she had many). Last job was at the Summerville SC YMCA, she retired from there at the age of 80 working full-time as a bookkeeper. Helen belonged to T.O.P.S., Toastmasters and the Moose Lodge. She was a very active lady right up to 30 days before her passing. Helen loved taking art classes, rides in car, getting her nails done, going to the movies, vacationing and Christmas lights which her husband Al made sure she always had plenty of. She was very loved by many people over her years, to many to mention. It didn't matter where she lived she was the life of the party. If the world could have more Moms like her in it, it would be a much better place to live. From New York to Connecticut, to South Carolina to Nevada, REST IN PEACE MOM. No more doctors, no more pain. Remember Sleepy Hollow Dr. You are an AMAZING PERSON!! You will be LOVED & MISSED DEARLY BY MANY!! LOVE, HUGS & KISSES ALWAYS!! And for one last time "ALBERT!!!" No services are scheduled.
