Candy Burns Obituary
March 12, 1962 - February 16, 2025
Candy (Graf) Burns 62, a resident of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on February 16th while visiting her son in Las Vegas.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday March 30th from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the Bettendorf Community Center, 2204 Grant St, Bettendorf, in the upper room. Food and drinks will be provided. Candy's family invites you to come and celebrate her life with them.
Candy was born March 12, 1962, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Donald and Joanne (Elgin) Graf.
Candy worked at Walmart on Elmore Avenue, Davenport for 35 years. Candy was a graduate of Class of 1980 from Bettendorf High.
She loved Jimmy Buffett, The Golden Girls, and Disney, but most of all her family. Because of Candy's love of everything Disney, to honor her, memorials may be made to Give Kids The World Village, a nonprofit resort that provides critically ill children and their families with an all-inclusive vacation to Florida's theme parks, one of which is Disney World. Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Brent Fowler, Las Vegas, Nevada and Brad Burns, Davenport, Iowa; father, Donald Graf, Milan, IL.; sisters, Connie (Jim) Von Holdt, Bettendorf, IA, Cathy Hamann, Davenport, IA, Caren (Brian) Buckley, Milan, IL; and all her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-great niece. She was preceded in death by her mother; and her grandparents.

I am so sorry for your families loss. I worked with Candy at Wal-Mart she was such a sweet, kind and loved her family. I can hear her laugh and how she also loved her Disney.
