Glenn Charles Kimmerle, 81, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024. Services will be held at 12 p.m., on Friday, August 16, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., at the mortuary. He will be laid to rest in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Glenn was born June 5, 1943, to Verle and Mary (Kidd) Kimmerle in Independence, Iowa. He married, Andrea Lange on July 21, 1988, in Davenport, Iowa. He retired from John Deere, in 2004, after 29 years of service.

Has a friend to Andrea, My wife Judith and I
was sorry to.hear of his death. As Commander of AMERICAN LEGION POST 26, I Salute him, for dedication to American Legion and Post 26. May he not forgotten, but remembered as, a good Commander, friend,husband and father.

Sorry to hear about his passing. We served a few short years together on the post 26 honor guard. I felt as we were both military retirees we had a special bond. Post 26 will not soon forget all he did for us. Richard Lowe
