Jody was born in 1964 to Judy (Lorenz) Iossi in Davenport, Iowa and had a special bond with her step-father Mark Iossi. On September 18, 2008, Jody was united in marriage to Steve Dalmeida in Las Vegas, Nevada; previously married to Tom Freeborn with whom she had their son, Grant "Little Peanut". Jody was very dedicated to her faith and to her family. Her beautiful personality and contagious smile could light up a room. Jody and Steve loved to travel, especially to the Colorado Mountains. Jody's greatest joy was her family whom she loved to cook for and entertain, especially during Christmas.

Those left to honor Jody's memory are her husband, Steve; children: Grant Freeborn, Chasity (Jason) Musal, Steven Dalmeida, II, Jessica (Allan) Ladd, Patty Dalmeida and her dog, Senior; grandson, Chase Ladd; mother Judy Iossi; brother Jeffrey Lorenz (husband Bradley Travis); mother-in-law Virginia Dalmeida; sisters-in-law: Michelle Dalmeida and Joia (Steve) Sprenger; brother-in-law Chris Dalmeida, nephews Kalen Dalmeida and Christopher Sprenger; niece Maddie Sprenger; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dear Judy, Jeff, Grant, Steve and Family,
My sincere condolences for your loss. Jody was such an inspiration in her fight to beat cancer. Although I'm saddened by your loss, I can't help but smile when I think of Jody. She was a very young girl when I met her so many years ago and she was very, very sweet. Not surprising, she grew into a loving, beautiful and spunky woman. I'm thankful knowing she's in God's Kingdom now. You are in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Teri Popko

Judy and Jeffrey,
My heart goes out to you both. Loosing a daughter and a sister has to be devastating.
Know that you are in my prayers and thoughts during this stressful time.
