DAVENPORT-Mark R. Andresen, 69, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in his name to the Salvation Army. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Mark was born on June 12, 1952 to Benjamin and Dorothy (Groves) Andresen in Davenport, IA. He retired from Tri City Fabricating and Welding after 27 years of dedicated service.
Mark loved his family dearly and worked hard after his father's death, taking care of his mother and sister. He was a 1979 Iowa State graduate and he enjoyed watching NASCAR and Indy car races, also attending stock car races in Davenport and West Liberty, IA. Mark bowled with the former Elk's Bowling League for 31 years. He was an avid fan of the Iowa State Cyclones, St. Louis Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Whitesox, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Mark was also a forty three year member of the Davenport Elks.
Those honoring Mark's memory are his brother, Greg Andresen, Davenport, IA; aunt, Betty (Bill) Spiess, Davenport, IA; niece, Katie (Nick) Place; great niece , Spencer Jean Place; and great nephew, Cameron Rodney Place.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sherry Jean Feuerbach.

I was so saddened to hear of Mark's passing. My Condolences to His Entire Family. I worked with Mark @ TCF for 5+ years. Such a Great Guy!!! No Chili was ever too hot for him!!!
