Robert "Bob" E. Dolan, 62, of Princeton, Iowa, passed away, Thursday, August 4, 2022.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Our Lady of The River Catholic Church, LeClaire. Visitation will be held from 4-7PM, Monday, August 8, 2022 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to his family.

Bob was born on April 1, 1960 in Davenport, son of Sylvan and Velma (Shaw) Dolan. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth "Becky" Rossmiller in 1980.

Bob wasn't afraid of hard work and began placing gutters in 1974. This led to him starting Bob Dolan Seamless Gutter. He had also worked for the Davenport Fire Department for 16 years. He enjoyed many years on the river fishing, hunting, camping, and boating. He was a great cook and loved to grill out. Bob would start each day by reading the Quad City Times, sending out a comic to a family member to start their day on a happy note. He always looked on the bright side of things and was ready for a good lecture to those who would listen. He was the type of person to be there for anyone in their time of need. He had an extensive record collection and was known for his love of candy. Above all else, Bob was a family man and loved them all deeply. He was especially fond of his grandchildren and had a nickname for each of them.

Those left to honor his memory include, wife of 42 years Becky; children Jennifer (Charlie) Cornett, Robert "Bobby" (Terri) Dolan, Jr. and James Dolan; grandchildren Charles Cornett, Isabella Cornett, Liliana Jo and Aurora Dolan and Grant Dolan; and siblings Greg Dolan, Tim (Marge) Dolan, Pat (Stuart) Cross, Maureen (Pat) Sullivan, Kathy (Pat) Clarke, Terry (Mike) Miller, Mike Dolan and Matt (Gloria) Dolan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dave Dolan.
