My heart is breaking for the loss of a dear and close friend and neighbor and to you Chris and Josh for the loss of your wonderful dad. I never thought that life could be cut so short and the things you take for granted and the times you have had together are cut too short and the loss is sometimes more than astounding in the depth it can affect you. Pat and I talked yet daily almost on the computer and whenever I chanced to run into him on one of the busy streets here in Rapid we always had time for a quick hi. I'll miss him very much and will always remember the great times we had together when you all lived across the street from me on Main Street. I know that my missing him will be nothing compared to yours and the loss that you will feel. If you need anything at all just remember that I am only a phone call away.

We send our deepest sempathy to the Doud family. Pat was a great friend to us and also a great father to his boys, which are our best friends. We know the pain you must feel, but remember Jesus has a great place in heaven for a great man and father like Pat. May God heal your hearts and help with the greif you all feel at this time of sorrow. May God bless you and remember that we love you two boys and we always are always here for you and also any of your family.

Alice and family; We send our sincere sympathy in your tragic loss of Patrick. We remember him as a boy and have heard the kindness he showed to others, especially his family, as the years passed. He will surely be missed. Keep close in mind the wonderful hope that Jesus promised of a resurrection. Be assured of our thoughts and prayers.
