The Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Robert R. Patton. Together they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 4, 2017. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Stella (Grzegorzewski) Quaintance. Arlene was a 1953 graduate of The Reading High School. She went on to be employed at Leader Nursing Home, Giant Food Store, and Wilson School District, where she retired from.
She was predeceased by her daughter,
Heidi L. Gaugler; step-grandson, Dylan Dieffenbach Jr.; and brother, Ronald Quaintance.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Kimberly A. Wanner, wife of Larry of Wernersville; Lori L. Wanner, wife of Walter of Wernersville; and Courtney E. Serba, wife of Daniel of Dagsboro, Del.; and Timothy P.
Patton, husband of Charlene of Ephrata. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Jeremy, Walter, Jordan, Jessica and Morgan Wanner; Landon Gaugler; Zachary, Camry and Lindsay Patton; Alicia and Danny Serba; great-grandchildren: Talon, Polaris and Wyatt Wanner; sister,
Judith Rodgers; and brother, Howard Quaintance.
Funeral Services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10-12:00 p.m. The entombment will follow the service at Pleasant View Cemetery and Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., P.O, Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.

My sincere condolences to my brother and his family. Sorry I couldn't be there with you all of you but you were always in my thoughts. My deepest regrets. She certainly will be missed and will always be in your hearts. God Bless You and rest in peace my dear sister-in-law.
