Debra Gift

Debra Lynn (Haddock) Gift, 61, of Hamburg, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Richard A. Gift, Sr. They were married June 29, 1984 and celebrated 37 years of marriage. Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Patricia D. (Wentzel) Haddock. She graduated from Twin Valley High School in 1978. Deb had been employed as a dental hygienist early in life, later working at the Die Wascherei, Hamburg for many years. She enjoyed Street Rodding, Hot Rodding, racing, and camping. She always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband is a son: Richard A. "Stinky" Gift, Jr., companion of Ashley Jones, Hamburg; a daughter: Dayna L. (Gift) Strunk, companion of Matt, Hamburg; and four grandchildren: Jackson, Brinley, Kallie, and Brody. She is also survived by three brothers: Scott, Richard, and Thomas Haddock; and a sister: Susan (Haddock) Kopicz.  A viewing will be held, Tomorrow, Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526.
