Dennis Schuster

Dennis J. Schuster, 73, of Wyomissing, passed away on April 8, 2022 at the Reading Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Pottsville to the late Joseph and Helen (McAlarney) Schuster, Dennis graduated from St. Clair High School in 1966. Following graduation he headed west to play college football at New Mexico State University. In 1968, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After his military service, Dennis graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Alvernia University. He began his career at Western Electric and remained with the company for 35 years, specializing in Labor Relations. After retirement Dennis served in various advisory positions providing consultation services for local companies. Dennis was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a lover of fun, music, and Penn State football (We Are!). He enjoyed watching his grandkids play hockey, reading them books, and enjoying their time together. Dennis and his wife Pat were married for 49 years, building a family based on hard work, compassion, and love. Dennis’ memory will be cherished by his children, Stacey Comishock, wife of Christopher, Enosburg Falls, VT, and Bryan Schuster, husband of Jennifer, Sinking Spring. Dennis was blessed with five grandchildren: Ryan, Livia, Reid, Bryce, and Teegan. Dennis is also survived by his sister, Angela Schuster Pasco, widow of Raymond, his brother Joseph Schuster, husband of Janet, and their families. Friends of the Family are welcome to visit on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be private.
