She was the wife of the late Rocco Labate, who passed away March 20, 1996. Born in Reading, Mrs. Labate was the daughter of the late Stanley B. and Mary (Wisneski) Nowotarski.
She was employed at AT&T as an assembler.
Mrs. Labate enjoyed cooking, dancing and vacationing with her family to Disney World and Williamsburg,
Virginia.
She was a loving mother to her son, William A. Labate, with whom she last resided, and a loving sister to Cecelia Mullen, of Birdsboro, and Lorraine Overley, wife of
Benjamin Overley Sr., of Mount Penn, and was loved by her nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Labate was preceded in death by her siblings:
Mildred Gagliano, Edward, John, Stanley Jr., Eugene,
Bernard and Clarence Nowotarski.
The family of Mrs. Labate will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, Monday, November 28, 2016, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in the spring of 2017.

Dear Family,
I remember Dolly when I was a young girl growing up on Neversink Street in Reading. Dolly was always dressed so nicely and was so pretty. She always had a kind word for us kids. God Bless.
