Erin Shannon-Lopez Obituary
Erin P. Shannon-Lopez, 32, of Shillington, passed away, Tuesday, August 29, 2017. She was the wife of Nelson Lopez Jr. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Garth Shannon, husband of Heidi, of Stony Creek and Beverly Bright Clay, of Reading.
Erin was a 2003 graduate of Oley Valley High School and earned her Associates Degree from Penn College in Psychology.
She loved soccer, art, movies, music and baking. Erin was an advocate for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and involved in the Out of the Darkness Community Walks, as well as the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA).
She is survived by two daughters, Jaelynn and Ana Lopez; brothers, Dylan and Garth C.; and sisters, Allison and Ashley. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Patricia Shannon, of Mt. Penn.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave., Mt. Penn. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) at 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005. For online condolences, please visit www.LutzFuneralHome.com.

My heart breaks for you and your family. I remember you growing up as a little girl. I remember when your family was going to your wedding.
