G. Arlene Trupe

G. Arlene (Readinger) Trupe, 85, of Richmond Twp., passed away peacefully Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the

Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Harold L. Trupe, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, on March 28, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Walter D. and Mary C. (Frey) Readinger.

She was a 1950 graduate of Wilson High School and a 1968 graduate of Reading Muhlenberg School of License Practical Nursing, and graduated at the top of her class.

Arlene was employed at Frank Henderson Physical

Therapy for 25 years, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church,

Sinking Spring.

In addition to her husband, Arlene is survived by her four children: Susan A. (Trupe), wife of William T. O'Neil, Temple; David H. Trupe, husband of Jane (Kelly), Richmond Twp.; Gary S. Trupe, husband of Kathleen (Swanson), Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; and Kristine D. Trupe, Mohnton; and three grandchildren: Andrew D. Trupe, Emily N. O'Neil and

Steven M. Trupe.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m.,

Saturday, Aug. 5, at St. John's Reformed Church, 4001 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, with her pastor, the Rev. Robert Ziehmer officiating.

A visitation will be held 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Saturday, at the church.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Wernersville, is handling arrangements.
