He was the husband of the late Maria M. (Alvarez) Quiles, who died June 28, 2005.
Born in Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Pedro and Gumelcinda (Torres) Quiles.
He was a truck driver for Campbell’s Fresh Mushrooms, Blandon, for 20 years until retiring.
Quiles is survived by two daughters, Judy (Quiles) Perez and Victoria Quiles, both of Reading; and a son, Hector Quiles Jr., Reading.
Other survivors include three brothers: Jorge and Anibal Quiles, both of Puerto Rico, and Ramon Quiles, Reading; and three sisters, Irma Quiles, Lorraine, Ohio; Maria Quiles, Queens, N.Y.; and Luz Quiles, Brooklyn, N.Y.
There are also seven grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading. Burial will be at Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. Friends may call Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. www.theocauman.com.
