May the peace and love and hope of Christ be with you all, now and forever. I give thanks to God for Laura Rhoads, and what she taught me about life and spirituality. I always felt welcome by her, wherever we were. She exemplified what I consider to be true loving and faithful Christian discipleship. I treasure the time when she and I quilted in her living room, while we talked and listened to hymns playing on the radio. May her legacy of love and faithfulness live on in each of you. You are blessed with her and each other.
The Rev. Joan Carvell Jones
