Ruth J. Groff

Ruth J. Groff Ruth J. Groff, age 96, wife of the late Melvin L. Groff of Boyertown, PA passed away at Chestnut Knoll on May 26, 2021. She was the daughter of Mary (Reitnauer) and Norman Johnson. Ruth was a graduate of Boyertown High School. She worked for many years as a secretary at Eastern Foundry in Boyertown. She was an active member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boyertown, where she volunteered in the church office for many years. She enjoyed dining out and visiting with friends and family. Ruth is survived by her sister, Emma Moser; niece, Deborah Bartlett; and nephew, Deron Johnson. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11am at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, 111 North Reading Ave, Boyertown PA, 19512. A viewing will be held from 10am-11am. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Boyertown, PA.
