She was the wife of Norman F. Ebersole.
Born in Brecknock Township, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Rosie (Griffith) Horning.
She was a 1950 graduate of Shillington High School.
She was a member of Alleghenyville Evangelical Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the Brecknock Twp. Fire Company where she was a longtime past president of the ladies auxiliary.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four children: Terry L., husband of J. Carol Ebersole, Martha, Ky.; and Sherry A. (Ebersole), wife of Michael K. Lutz; Merry B. (Ebersole) Swavely; and Gerry D., husband of Tracy L. Ebersole, all three of Brecknock Township.
Other survivors include two brothers, Alton Horning, Narvon, and John H. Horning, Bowmansville; and a sister, Lily Horning, Mohnton.
There are also eight grandchildren: Jason A. Lutz, Amy J. Payne, Joel B. Lutz, Julie A. Swavely, Scott S. Swavely, Austin D. Ebersole and Aidan C. Ebersole, all of Brecknock Township; and Zachary L. Ebersole, Martha, Ky.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Musser and Catherine Schlouch.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her services Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Alleghenyville Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1327 Alleghenyville Road, Mohnton, with Pastor George W. Grubb officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be Saturday 9 to 11 a.m. in the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the Brecknock Township Fire Company, 1153 Kurtz Mill Road, Mohnton, PA 19540.
