On behalf of the volunteers of Berks Visiting Nurse Association, we want to extend a heartfelt message of sympathy to Kay and her family. Only meeting Jim on a few occasions, it is best said that he was the necessary support needed for Kay to pursue her passions and to be able spend her time lending care to others through our hospice and bereavement programs. Allowing Kay to be the one to shine, it was on their 60th wedding anniversary that they chose to share with us and attend our annual Volunteer Appreciation Banquet. The love and admiration this couple had for each other was to be envied. May God provide His peace and comfort to Kay and her family during these intense times knowing that friends abide with you and are only a phone call away.

I was so sorry to read of Jim's death this week. I had been trying to find him in the past few years. (I had forgotten his first name was not James)
Jim was a good friend when I was a teenager. Cave exploring and trips to Cross Lake Canada.

I am truly sorry for your loss. The memory of Jim brings back happy times.

I am so sorry to hear of the family's loss. Jim was such a helpful, pleasant man. There are no words to make it less painful. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was very sorry to read of Jim's death in today's Eagle. I knew Jim from the Berks Mineralogical Society a number of years back when he was active in the Society and enjoyed talking with him at meetings about our common interest.
