Mary Margaret Specht June 3, 1928 - May 13, 2015 Mary passed away peacefully at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital surrounded by family, on Wednesday May 13, 2015. She was a devoted wife, homemaker and mother for over 66 years. Mary's life revolved around church, family and friends. She was an avid reader, accomplished seamstress, cake decorator, and loved to cook! She also was a dedicated member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Kelseyville. She was a board member of St. Peter's Ladies' Club and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Mary moved to Lake County in 1985 and reveled in the breathtaking view of Clear Lake from the deck of their home in Riviera West! She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, volunteer work, taking cruises, and most of all visits with her children and grandchildren. Mary will also be fondly remembered as the "Attendance Lady" at Neff High School in La Mirada, CA, where she resided with her husband from 1956 until their retirement. Mary is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Tony, Greg and Mary Beth; and grandchildren, Dallas and Jordan. A mass and reception in celebration of Mary's life will be held at St. Peter's Church, in Kelseyville, CA, on June 27, at 10 a.m. in Kelseyville, CA.
