I was (am) so saddened and shocked to learn of Audrey's passing. She was forever young, forever doing, always kind, happy and interesting. A truly wonderful soul. For sure, I never realized her age; she always seemed to have so much energy. There are not enough words to say how much she will be missed. Always seemed to sit near her, at Mass, and have missed seeing her there, and sad to know I'll not see her there, again. God Bless and Keep her . . . with sincere condolences for her family; prayers for all. Anne Marie Berrios

We left Wallingford for RI 60 years ago, but how well we remember Audrey "Hazard" and my husband knew Gene Carretta. She worked part time after school for The Rogers Jewelry Store and my in-laws were so fond of her. How wonderful that her name will be carried on in her expected great granddaughter. So sorry she had to pass because of the Corona Virus when she was seemingly a healthy person and able to enjoy her family and for the family to lose her so soon after her brother Mike, who was a classmate of mine at LHHS. Sincere codolences.

I"m so sorry to read this news. I taught with Audrey at EC Stevens from 1966-70. She was always
so gracious and so readily extended herself to others. And she was such fun to be with! My condolences to Audrey's family.

A true gem!!! My brothers and sisters all have memories of Mrs. Carretta! Many years when our paths met she would call me one of the sob sisters. My sisters, Lori and Lisa often had to help me at school because all I wanted to do was be home with my mom! Love to all!! And I will definitely be at her celebration! I am so sad for your loss!!!! But what a life she led!!!! Brenda Pierce Anziano
