Betty Osterhout Obituary

Betty Diane Osterhout, 65, of Port Orange, FL, passed away October 31, 2019.

She was known mostly as Diane Pelletier before marrying her late husband Jay Osterhout. Lifelong resident of CT primarily in Meriden before moving recently to her favorite place in Florida with her partner Mel Sarno.

Diane loved her family dearly and was loved deeply by them. She leaves behind her partner, Mel, daughter Vicky Ramirez and her father Jean Pelletier, and her 3 grandchildren, Brittney Ramirez, Ajay Ramirez and Ava Hanson. She also leaves behind 3 sisters Nancy, Marline and Joyce, and many nieces and nephews.

Mimi, none of this feels like it's real. You were always there for me and were one of my biggest supporters. You did anything you could for your family. I'll never forget how you called me Tiffany when I was younger and totally had me confused what my name was haha. I miss you and love you so much. Rest easy - Brittney

She was my first great and only love. I've always loved her until she passed away and I will miss her greatly, even though we didn't always agree, she was the heartbeat that kept this whole family together including her own family. I hope that we meet again in the next life so we can have a new life together that will also include all the ones we love so much. Goodbye diane, until we meet again. Love ya, Jean, Vick, brit and ajay.

Mom.. I cannot say enough how much I love you You were always there to listen and help whenever I needed it. You loved us all endlessly and the love you had for your grandkids could not even be measured I will always have the memories you left me with and will cherish always!
