Christopher Mucci Obituary
Chris was born March 15, 1993 in Meriden and attended local schools. He was a graduate of Wilcox Technical High School Electrical Program and worked as a Facilities Maintenance Technician at APS Technology, Wallingford, CT. Chris loved to spend time with close friends for game nights, get-togethers, and parties. He enjoyed hiking and walking, especially with his favorite dogs, Willis and Lola.
Chris was an avid gun and shooting sports enthusiast. His hobbies also included video gaming and was an "expert" movie buff. He was always available to lend a helping hand when needed. His wit and unique sense of humor always made everyone laugh.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother and spouse, Matthew & Nicole (Ferri) Mucci , of Wallingford, maternal grandmother, Yvonne Swiatek of Meriden, aunt Rosemarie Mucci & partner Willy Ramos of Meriden, uncle and godfather, Peter Swiatek & partner Vic Graham of Laurel Park, NC, uncle John & Aunt Ginny Swiatek of Southington, cousin Shawn Morytko of Southington, godmother Natalie West of Northport, FL, best buddy Dominic Ferri, and girlfriend Amber Frazier Manning of New London. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends. He will be especially missed by Willis, Lola, Simba, and Captain. He was predeceased by his grandparents, John Swiatek of Meriden, and Joseph and Jennie Mucci of Middletown.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Yale New Haven Hospital Neurological ICU unit for their expert care and compassion.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours to be held at the John J. Ferry and Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral service will commence at 12:00 pm. Burial will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Ave., Meriden, CT 06450. Nick, I met you years ago at Wilcox and became friends especially during those PFO events. Then we went to a neighbors bbq and you were there with Karen and your boys.
