Donald, now that your pain is gone , no more tears. You can go anywhere you like now without permission or schedules. Visit that one special love ( Bella Rose) in her dreams and let her remember her Daddy. You are now her guardian angel and she will always have you near her. Forever in my thoughts, love Aunti Lori

I met Don during Holiday on main street, my husband, and I volunteered with him for the Veteran's center for MXCC in Middletown. He was a delight to volunteer with! My husband, and I are very saddened by the news. Our thoughts, and prayers are with his family!

Cowboy hat, boots, belt buckle and TIGHT jeans/shirts...You know what they say, "Everyone's crazy about a sharp-dressed man" Don was THAT guy, so iconic.
Don, You will forever be in my heart and missed by SO many! Everyone in the "Zen family" adored you. Such a sweet, goofy, kind and gentile soul.
I will never forget how I would text him if I needed singers (I hosted karaoke for a while at Zen)Don was always there, ready to sing for me. I will never be able to listen to "Amarillo Sky" or "I've got friends in low places" the same ever again.
I was going though our old messages and you requested a song though there instead of signing the paper(because you wanted to "jump the line", which I always did lol) You requested me to play "My Guardian Angel" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus...I now cannot stop listening to that song.
Rest well now my friend, may you be at peace. Heroes are remembered, but legends never die. <3<3<3

I met Don just shy of a year ago at a country councert where we instantly became friends and he has turned into one of my best friends. We talked nearly everyday; we were each other's go to outfit experts when we were going out to meet friends or on dates with significant others. He used to call me on video chats when he went to karaoke so I could hear him sing since I lived far away where it was hard to see each other often. Don was there for me through the toughest part of my fiancé's deployment, he cheered me on and prayed with me when I took my Board exam, and he was one of the first people I called when I got engaged; every good and bad moment we were there for each other. One of his most prized hats was a white Stetson that I gave him and had shaped based on another hat he was wearing; I used to tease him that he must sleep with that hat on. Don was a great man, a gentleman, and a best friend with the best smile, a smart mouth and a big heart. I miss him terribly already, I am regretting not having taken a single photo together in the year we have been friends, and I am even more sad that I will be unable to properly say good-bye on Friday and that I'll see him again. I love you Don, I hope you are singing Amarillo Sky and I'll see you again one day my friend....you owed me a dance =]
