Harry Sisson Obituary

WALLINGFORD - Harry M. Sisson Jr., 71, of South Dakota, and beloved husband of Lou (Kelley) Sisson, departed this life on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, in Wallingford, surrounded by his loving family.

Harry was born on Oct. 9, 1935 in Rahway, N.J., son of the late Harry M Sisson Sr. and Helen (Tripp) Sisson. He was a graduate of Amherst College, class of 1957. Later he worked over 20 years for Armstrong Tire Company, later retiring as an Inn Keeper in 2002. He attended the First Baptist Church in Branford, and was a member of the Lions Club in Wakefield, N.H. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling, and spent the last several years RVing with his wife. He will be remembered the most for his great love shown to his family.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Lou C. Sisson; his daughters, Janet Wilson and her husband, Dan of New Hampshire, and Judi Wallace and her husband, Jeff of Branford; his brother, Jerry Sisson of Colorado; and sister, Sally Sandberg of New Hampshire; he also leaves two grandchildren, Jason and James Wallace.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, Sept. 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., Wallingford. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Branford. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
