Tiffany Schroeder Obituary
Tiffany was born in Panama City, Fla., March 10, 1968, a daughter of Robert and Jane Schaefer, of West Hartford. She was a graduate of Conard High School in West Hartford and of Denison University. Tiffany received Masters Degrees from Southern Connecticut University and the University of New England. She began her teaching career at North Branford Middle School before moving to James T. Moran Middle School in Wallingford in the Fall of 2000 where she was currently a 7th grade Math Teacher. Tiffany was a member of the First Congregational Church of Wallingford and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her beloved children, Courtney and Gardiner Schroeder; her sister and brother-in-law, Megan and Michael Sevigny, of Wallingford; her paternal grandmother, Evelyn Tiffany Schaefer, of West Hartford; her parents-in-law, Peter and Linda Schroeder, of Florida; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Per and Kim Schroeder, of Ohio; and her nieces and nephews, Kevin, Ryan and Sean Sevigny, and Stig, Emma and Reese Schroeder. She was predeceased by her sister, Karen Correal.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, on Thursday, May 16, 2013, from 3 until 7 p.m. A Celebration of Tiffany's Life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 10 a.m. in the First Congregational Church of Wallingford, 23 S. Main St. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the Schroeder Children's Education Fund, c/o The Wallingford Funeral Home. Tiffany was the first person I met at Denison's Freshman Orientation. I remember thinking what a great person. Tiffany and I remained friends throught college. While we lost touch after graduating, I have always remembered her fondly.

We just heard about Tiffany's death and my son Steven and I were just devastated. Tiffany was an amazing educator. My son Steven will still say at 23 years old that 'Mrs., Schroeder was the best teacher he ever had. I am so sorry for your families loss. She was such a kind and giving person.

She was the best teacher ever. She's an amazing person that didnt deserve this. You all are in my prayers. I miss her too and I'd give anything to see her one more time. She was a loving person and to the Schroeder family I hope you all are doing okay because she deserves to be here with us all.
