Judith Cronin Obituary
Judy's greatest passion was being with her family, attending local sporting events and UMass football games. Judy looked forward to vacationing with her family at Disney World and Hampton Beach. She demonstrated a lifelong love of animals and went on to breed prize rabbits. She traveled throughout the country and to all local agricultural fairs showing them.
Judy was married to John T. Cronin on April 19, 1960. Jack predeceased her in 2001 after Judy's devoted care for him during his battle with cancer. Judy leaves behind three children - Karen Connor of Northampton, John Cronin and his wife, Julie, of Holyoke, Christopher Cronin and his wife, Pamela, of Wilbraham. She leaves six beloved grandchildren and one great-granddaughter - Tara, Matthew, Shaun, Molly, CJ, Kelly and Alexis. She also leaves her siblings - Jerry Kells, Janice Richotte, Joanne Harris, and Jeanne Nietsche. Her brother, John Kells, and her nephew, Steven Kells, predeceased her. She also leaves many dear nieces and nephews.
Although Judy was limited by her illness for several years, she enjoyed being in her home, spending her days with her family. Special thanks to all who made that possible, including her family, doctors, and nurses.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Friday, December 28th at 10AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish, 99 King St. (Please Meet directly at Church), with Rites of Committal and burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, N. Elm St., both in Northampton. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 27th from 4-7 at the Ahearn Funeral Home, 783 Bridge Rd., Northampton.
Memorial contributions may be made in Judy's memory to a charity of one's choice.

So sorry for your family's loss. Your mother was obviously an important influence on me as I grew up. She was always willing to teach me about raising and caring for animals. I have fond memories of going to fairs with her as a kid with my guinea pigs or helping her feed her animals at the house or the barn. My sincere condolences to you Karen, Jack and Chris and to all of your families. The Stoddard and Prospect corner lost another great one!

I will always cherish the memories that were made with Judy and the rest of the Kells cousins at the Kells Homestead in Bingville. She was a very loving woman. God Bless.
