L. Moore Obituary

L. Ann "Punky" (Allaire) Moore

Jupiter, FL - Beloved wife, sister & mom, favorite auntie, cherished friend & devoted cat-mom died July 19, 2025 in West Palm Beach, Florida at The Good Samaritan Hospital/Vitas Hospice Unit.

She was surrounded by the love & care of family and friends, near and far.

Ann was born on February 19, 1943 to Loyce (Hilliker) Allaire and A. Eugene Allaire in Greenfield, Massachusetts.

She graduated from Stoneleigh Burnham School and attended UMass/Amherst.

She worked for years at Berkshire Life, Austen Riggs Center, and in the greater Jupiter area for Mayors Jewelers and Insurance Offices of America.

Her devoted husband and love-of-her life, Richard Moore died peacefully five days later, on July 24 in the same hospice.

Ann and Dick both grew up in Greenfield, the beginnings of their love story. Their loving presence will forever remain in our hearts.

Ann will be deeply missed by her sister, Sally Green of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; daughter, Lisa E. Haskins and grandson, Samuel of Portland, ME; nephew, Ted Hoosick & wife Jan of Ashburnham, MA; nieces Ellen Hoosick of Pittsboro, NC and Sally Anne Bassett & husband Paul and their son Andrew, also of Pittsboro, NC; stepson Sean Moore of Jupiter, FL and stepdaughter Elizabeth (Lisa) Moore (& family) of Palm Beach, FL.

Her positivity, deep care for others (people & kitties!) and laughter will also be dearly missed by her close, loving friends.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in Greenfield later this fall.

My dearest, cherished, lifelong friend Loyce Lovely! You lived, you loved, you laughed and left! What more could one accomplish? You filled so many lives with joy and laughter and always listened and understood with compassion and empathy to those who needed a shoulder to lean on and an understanding, non- judgmental heart.
My deepest condolences to all those who love you. We have all been so very blessed and enriched to have had you in our lives. I´m ever so thankful that you and Dick, the love of your life, has accompanied you on your eternal adventure. Neither of you could have lived without each other
Fare thee well, dear cherished friend. Your name is etched on my heart forever. Nancy Hickey
