Julio Vasquez Macias

1944 - 2010

Julio Vasquez Macias age 66 and a resident of Lindsay for 25 years passed away February 16, 1011 in Porterville. Julio was born in Guatemala, Mexico February 21, 1944 to Adelido and Francisca Macias who moved to Tulare County when Julio was a child and where he has continued to reside in the Plainview and Lindsay areas his entire life. Julio worked primarily in the construction industry and was proud to have helped build many homes in the local area. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed going camping and fishing and spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by his wife Gloria Macias of Lindsay. 3 sons: Julio Macias Jr., Mark Macias, Vincent Macias and wife Rocio, all of Lindsay. 2 daughters: Cynthia Macias and Laura Carlos, both of Porterville. 5 brothers: Juvintino Macias of Lindsay, Reynaldo Macias of Bakersfield, Val Macias of MO, Fernando Macias of Lindsay, Ernie Macias of Lindsay and Frank Macias of Strathmore. 3 sisters: Grace Zaragoza, Beatrize Quiros and Mary Flores, all of Porterville along with 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will begin 9:00am Monday February 21, at Whitehurst-Peters-Loyd Chapel with a Funeral Service at 2:00pm.
