Michael D. Clark, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Clark was born and raised in the Porterville area. He graduated from Porterville High School in 1968. Married his High school Sweetheart Carla M. Severns on April 15, 1969. Together they had one child and were happily married for 37 years before she passed away on September 22, 2006.
Mr. Clark was the President of the Poplar Chamber of Commerce for 20 years.
He Retired from Lower Tule River Irrigation District in 2004 after 25 years of service. He started Mike Clark Trucking in 2005 with his son Michael.
He is survived by his son Michael D. Clark Jr., four Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren.
Visitation Services will be held on November 17, 2023 from 2:00 pm -7:00 pm at Porterville Funeral & Cremation Center located at 765 W. Henderson Ave. Porterville Ca. 93257
Graveside services will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery in the Home of Peace area located at 1013 E. Olive Ave. on November 18, 2023 at 10 am. The Reverend Don Thomason will be officiating. Porterville Funeral and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.

Sorry to hear that you have lost both of your parents. We loved them as our neighbors on East Henderson. The old neighborhood we had is no more.
