Joseph Warner Obituary

Joseph "Joe" Matthew Warner, 71, a resident of the open road, formerly of Washington Courthouse, OH., died April 29 in Holbrook, AZ.

He was born in Hollidaysburg, PA in 1945, son of the late Eugene and Mary Esther Warner.

Surviving are his partner, Mary Moses of Washington Court House, OH; daughters Marlene (and husband Jon Streff) of Salem, MA and Katie of San Francisco, CA; a son, Jeff (and wife Meredith) of Minneapolis, MN; three grandchildren: Owen, Cormac and Brigid Warner-Streff of Salem, MA; sisters Janet Myers of Greensboro, NC and Barbara Jackson of Pittsburgh, PA, and brother Gary, of Hollidaysburg, PA.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jaclynn, sisters Jean and Carol Probst, and brother John.

Joe went to Penn State University and worked in both retail and landscaping throughout his career. Once retired, he fulfilled his dream of seeing the country in his trailer. He loved family, music, nature, coffee, cooking, camping, hunting, fishing, making new friends in his travels, and a good joke (or a bad one!).

A memorial will be held this Thursday, May 11 from 4 – 6 at the Fayetteville County Commission on Aging, 1179 Elm Street, Washington Court House, OH.
