Bernadette Lockheed Obituary

Lodi, CA

Bernadette LeVasseur Lovelace Lockheed

July 31, 1922 - February 1, 2008

Born in Greenpoint, New York, she passed away peacefully in Lodi with loved ones by her side. She raised her family in Long Island while working in the aircraft industry. In her late 70s, she reconnected with Arthur Lockheed, her high school sweetheart. After no contact for over 50 years, they found that both had lost their first spouses the previous year. They fell in love, were married and moved to Lodi enjoying 6 years together, traveling the globe and sharing their romantic reunion story. She will be deeply missed by family and friends whose hearts she touched and days she brightened with her sharp wit, snappy outfits and sparkly eyes.
