Carma Marye Perrego Ryan

Carma Marye Perrego Ryan, 76, daughter of Carmen and Florence (Serviss) Perrego, wife of Ralph (Mickey) Ryan and mother of Patrick (Chris) Ryan, Deborah Kiser, Michael (Chris) Ryan, Sandra (Michael) Strong and Kelly (Tom) Liner, passed away Friday evening, September 18, 2009 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Carma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all and especially loved her great-grandchildren, Sierra, Bella, Alex and Reilly.

In addition to her husband, children and great-grandchildren, Carma is survived by 12 beloved grandchildren and her loving brothers and sisters: Anthony and Robert of Newburgh, Michael of Owings, MD, Peter of Dover, DE, James of Clayton, NC, Gary of Wappingers Falls, Phyllis Goggin of Las Vegas, NV, Rose Marie Scott of Modena, and Paula Mueller of Wheeling, IL; her sisters-in-law, Annie (George) Snyder of Campbell Hall and Sylvia Ormand of Peoria, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m., today, Monday, September 21, at the Connell, Dow & Deysenroth Funeral Home, 82 Chestnut St., Cooperstown, NY when Carma's family will be in attendance.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, at St. Mary's "Our Lady of the Lake" Roman Catholic Church in Cooperstown with Fr. John P. Rosson, pastor, presiding. Burial will follow in the Milford Cemetery, Milford, NY.

All are invited to the Milford American Legion immediately following the burial to share food and friendship and to celebrate the life of Carma Ryan.
