Debra Vail Obituary

Middletown, NY

Debra L. Imbimbo Vail of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2009 after a long illness in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 37.

The daughter of John A. Imbimbo and the late Jorgianna Gilbert Imbimbo, she was born on November 22, 1971 in Westwood, NJ.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Vail, at home; her daughters, Toni Vail and Katelyn Lashway, both at home; her father, John A. Imbimbo of Middletown; two sisters, D'Anne LeRoy and her husband, Michael of Middletown and Gina Imbimbo of Middletown; her niece, Brianna Whalen and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 1-4 p.m. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc., 72 West Main St., Middletown, NY.

Funeral services will be held during the visitation hours at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, 120 Wall Street, 19th Floor, New York, NY 10005; 800-533-CURE (2873) or www.jdrf.org.

Some of my fondest memories were of Debbie yelling for "Trouble" their dog. Need I say more.. Girls know that you are truly loved. Write every memory down you can think of. My thoughts are with the Imbimbo family during this difficult time. I have very fond memories of Debbie growing up on Orange Terrace. I know she is at peace with her mom and my dad, Marty. I will definately contribute to the Juvenile Diabetes Association with Debbie in mind.

I am so sorry for your loss. She will be one of the best angels in Heaven, looking down and taking care of everyone. Nana and Mrs Imbimbo will make sure she is safe and taken care of.
