Dottie and family,
Sylvia, Renate, Kurt, and I were deeply saddened to hear that Hank had passed away. Unfortunately, circumstances would not allow us to travel down to Newburg for the memorial service. Hank was one of the most kindest, generous men I have ever met. He was always a welcoming face at the side of stage at the many festivals and gatherings we attended over the years. I will never forget the great times we had together at the Sunshine Valley House in the Catskills! I know he is up in Heaven smiling and looking down on all of us and St. Peter is patting him on the back saying "well done." If I am fortunate enough to make it up to that place in the clouds someday I will just ask for the Angel with the trombone. Rest in peace "Hanky Panky."

My heartfelt sympathies for your loss. May the love and support of friends & family as well as the cherished memories you share carry you through your grief, while you await the fulfillment of Gods promise that one day you will be reunited with your loved one again (John 6:40).

Henry was the scoutmaster for my sons (now in their sixties). He was a fine example for the scouts. Both my sons are life scouts. Henry never allowed me to forget my Irish heritage and would surprise me every St. Patrick's Day by decorating my home appropriately with shamrocks. He must have had leprechauns help because I never caught a glimpse of the procedure. Rest in peace, dear friend. Dottie, God bless you for all you did for him and many others through the years. Sincerely, Anne Ryerson
