Mariah DeGraw Obituary
The daughter of Allan DeGraw, Sr. and Carla Oliver DeGraw, she was born September 24, 1979 in Nyack, N.Y.
Mariah enjoyed life and did everything possible to brighten everyone else's life. She wanted to make the world smile.
She is survived by her parents, Allan and Carla DeGraw; her daughter, Allura Lynn DeGraw; a brother, Allan DeGraw, Jr.; a sister, Alisha Lynn DeGraw; and a nephew, Gavin Donald, all at home; maternal grandfather, Frank Oliver of Woodbourne; paternal grandfather, Walter DeGraw of Cairo; paternal grandmother, Julia DeGraw VanDunk of Bloomingburg; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Molly Oliver.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2005 from 4-7 PM at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 20 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a fund to benefit Mariah's daughter, Allura. These contributions can be addressed to Debbie Walsh, P.O. Box 457, Slate Hill, NY 10973.

Alisha,
I just want to say how sorry I am to hear what happened to Mariah. I remember all of the stories you would tell about her when we were teens, she was a wonderful person- I never met someone who stood up for herself and was as strong willed as she was. She is in a much better place now and can watch over you and your family. She will live on through you (you guys were so much alike!) and through Allura. I am truly sorry Alisha- she will be greatly missed.
