Valley Cottage, NY
Nelly Pawliw, of Valley Cottage, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010. She was 86.
Born in the Ukraine on November 4, 1923 to Katerina and Iwan Udycz.
She is predeceased by her husband, Wasyal and survived by her children, Dr. Lesia Batorfalvy and her husband, Roman, the late George and his wife, Susan, Marika Garms and her husband, Dick, Christina Kobyleckyj and her husband, Stefan; her sister, Maria Batruch; Grandchildren: Tatianna and her husband, Dorian, Bohdan and his wife, Debbie, Jennifer, Maura, Alexa, Nicky, Andrei, Danylo, Stefanko and Adrianna; Great grandchildren: Sebastian, Julianna, Hope, Leah, Brad and Ryan. Reposing will be Sunday 3-6 p.m. at Sniffen-Sagala Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Church. Interment will be at Holy Spirit Cemetery, Hamptonburg, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 20 Squadron Blvd., New City, NY 10956.
