It is with a heavy heart we mourn the loss of a beloved son, brother, and friend to many. Cooper Kip Pearson passed away on June 18th, 2018 at the age of 14 at his residence in Corning, CA. Cooper was born in Redding, CA at Mercy Hospital, and attended school at Richfield Elementary School where he was a 7th grader.
Cooper was a brilliant and loving young man, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Cooper was like a bright ray of sunshine on a rainy day. He loved with his whole heart and always found the good in everyone. He was all that is rare of the rare. Cooper enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, basketball, gaming, reading, and caring for his pets. Cooper will be missed by all who knew him, his time on Earth was too short, but his memory will live on.
Cooper is survived by his Mother and Stepfather Kris and Jason Spencer and siblings Justin Jones, Chelsea Brothers, Bailey Brothers, Wyatt Spencer, and Lance Spencer. Grandparents Randy and Susie Bass, along with many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Father and Stepmother Luke and Karina Pearson, and siblings Durham Pearson, Levi Pearson, and Summer Pearson. Grandparents Dan and Roxy Pearson and Howard and Kathy Gay as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Red Bluff, following the service there will be celebration of life at the Red Bluff Elks Lodge.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in memory of Cooper to:

Cooper was such an amazing young man. Always so polite whenever you talked to him. His smile was contagious.
I will miss listening to him and Brady having their conversations while playing video games.

I, along with MANY others am heartbroken over this. Cooper had this MEGA WATT SMILE that would brighten up the darkest of rooms and the dimmest of moods. He was always the happiest kid every TIME our paths crossed. He kicked my butt too MANY times when we would play CANDYLAND and I'll cherish those memories the most. I can't even fathom the grief u all are going thru. Just know that I love u Kris and if u need ANYTHING, please don't hesitate to call me. Love u Coop!
