Vickie Zylstra passed away at the home of her mother.
The daughter of Mickey (deceased) and Marie Zylstra, sister to Debbie Hays (Thomas) and Ricky Zylstra (Tracy) and Aunt to Amber, Rachel, Makaela and Tayler.
Vickie had many memorable traits. Her sense of humor and artistic ability often collided, which brought smiles to many, when she painted windows during the holidays or large signs to roast someone on their birthday. She was an animal lover; birds, dogs and her horse Gallahad were her treasured companions.
Vickie grew up in the irrigation business. She learned her trade working for her father at Zylstra Irrigation. She knew irrigation systems inside and out. She had many friends in this field and was recognized and respected for her knowledge and design.
Vickie loved movies, music, the LA Dodgers and Rams, her pets, plants and above all else Mickey Mouse.
Vickie was one of a kind.
A close family celebration of life will be privately held.

Vickie, you will be sorely missed. I have great memories of you in high school, one of the first people I met, since we had to line up alphabetically! And then the treat of seeing you again at Lowes after all these years. You hadn't changed. Still bigger than life and as sweet as could be. My condolences to the family. We will all miss her.

So sorry to hear of Vickie's passing. I can remember soooo many great moments growing up with her as a classmate. Especially our fishing trip with Mr.Dunn on the river with our own glow bugs!!! I pray that your memories will bring smiles to your faces as the grief subsides. Vickie will be remembered and missed by many!!!

This world is more beautiful because of all the hearts and souls that were touched and blessed by Vickie. She was a beautiful, talented, fun and loving person. Her presence anywhere brought such bright light and made anyone near smile! Thank you Vickie for you brought many blessings to this world and it is much better because of you. My sincere condolences' to those left behind. We lost a wonderful lady and Heaven gained the brightest of gems!

We were so sorry to hear about your loss. Vickie was such a sweet and generous person. We were lucky to have her as a friend. Everyday when we look out and see Kidd we think of her. We will always remember her. Missing her already.
