Rand Wade Obituary
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Hull Road O.F.W.B. Church with the Rev. Leon Grubbs officiating. Interment will immediately follow at the Snow Hill Cemetery.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wade was preceded in death by a sister, Florine Wade Hardy.
His surviving family includes his wife, Carol Pippin Wade of the home; sons, Rand W. Wade Jr. and wife, Becky, and Jeffrey R. Wade and wife, Betty Jo, all of Snow Hill; grandchildren, Beth Wade of Greenville, Giles Wade, Rebecca Wade, and Will Wade, all of Snow Hill; great-granddaughters, Calyn and Mary Faith; his siblings, Hilda Stadiem of Kinston, Maxine Barrow of Goldsboro, Janet Cunningham of LaGrange, Carol Blanche Wainwright and husband, Ralph of Stantonsburg, and Alvin Wade and wife, Janice of Cary; and a special caregiver, B.J. Anglero.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 – 8 at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service and other times at the home, 980 Thomas Sugg Road, Snow Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rand and Carol Wade Family Endowment, c/o Mount Olive College, 634 Henderson Street, Mount Olive, NC 28365 or Hull Road O.F.W.B. Church, 3984 Hull Road, Snow Hill, NC 28580. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylor-tyson.com.

I will always remember Mr.Rand as a kind and genuine christian man.I will miss meeting him on the road where he always had a smile and wave for every person he met.He and Mrs.Carol came and ate supper with grandma and I a few months ago and he was happy and very hungry as I remember.That will be something I'll remember always.May God bless and comfort each of you in the weeks to come and forever more.

We are so sorry to hear about Mr.Rand, he always had a smile and always through up the hand as you passed him on the road. My parents Kermit and Bernice Bunn always spoke so kind of him. I imagine Mr. Rand and my dad are already working on an engine or motor up in heaven. Mr. Rand was a beautiful person inside and out, may God Bless you all in this time of need and the days to follow,time heals all hearts of sorrow and as each day passes it will get easier, you have so many good memories ,lean on them they will see you through with God at your side.
