Our thoughts and prayers are with Kay, Bob and the family at this difficult time. Living next door to the Fountains in Columbia when Kay and I were little girls, I have many fond memories of the Fountains. The screen doors slamming shut with Kay and I running back and forth; Mr. Fountain enjoying his evening cocktail while sharing his view on something; the days at the lake swimming or playing tennis with Kay at Garden Dale for hours; listening to Carol King's album over and over (I'm sure this drove Bob crazy). Most importantly, the Fountains have always been there for my family, especially after our Dad passed away. Thank you for being there. Stay strong. Love you, Beth

My heart aches for Bob's family and friends for this loss they are suffering. He fought the good fight and gave it his all. His healing was not to be this side of heaven. So thankful he is at peace now and in the loving arms of our Father. My dad, Cabe Carlton, has counted Bob as one of his closest friends since the 50's. Bob was there for my dad during his most recent, challenging times, even while facing serious challenges himself. Bob has received the crown of life and it is well with his soul. All God's love and comfort to the Fountain family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Bob. These times are tough, but get easier faster than you may have expected. Knowing that your dad is with our Lord in Heaven is truly a blessing and will alleviate the pain you are most undoubtedly feeling now.

To the Fountain Family, I pray you will find comfort in the wonderful memories. Bob, I still have the beach scene wall hangings that your Dad created... still my favorites. Hope you and yours are well. Harry

Want the Fountain family to know that all of you are in my thoughts during this time of loss. Bob had been a friend of my parents for over 40 years. I knew him most of my life. Such a fine person and so much fun to be around. He will always be thought of and missed greatly. I have a large framed photo of the beach he signed, framed and gave my parents. I always think of him when I look at it. May all his family have peace.
